BondIT.tech is a veteran-owned business founded by Roger Bond Jr. in 2001 with one goal: helping small businesses use technology to work better, smarter, and more reliably.
Roger trained as a nuclear engineer and served 12 years in the U.S. Navy submarine force. He served in Reactor Controls Division aboard USS Will Rogers (SSBN-659), an environment where reliability, precision, troubleshooting, and attention to detail were essential. His department was responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the submarine’s nuclear power plant.
After qualifying as Engineering Watch Supervisor, Roger served as an instructor at the Nuclear Power Training Unit from which he had graduated. There, he was afforded the rare opportunity to qualify as Engineering Officer of the Watch, a position normally reserved for commissioned nuclear officers. Roger is also a plankowner of USS Louisiana (SSBN-743), his final command.
After leaving the Navy, Roger spent six years in research and development at Intel’s Portland Technology Development organization, working on advanced semiconductor process technologies including P858 and P1260.
That combination of engineering, electronics, computing, networking, and hands-on troubleshooting gives BondIT.tech an unusually broad technical foundation for solving small-business technology problems.
